A branded and cohesive look and feel for your product’s packaging.

The founders of Cleave Coffee Co. wanted a packaging solution that would catch a consumer’s eye from the shelf, while also being cost-effective.

Before beginning the project, we conducted a competitive analysis and found that most of Cleave’s direct competitors used a one-color bag and label system. Our package solution features a distinct brand pattern that was sure to stand out against competitors in the area, while also being flexible.

Each of Cleave’s core roasts (The Self-starter, the Trailblazer, the Homebody, and the Hell-Raiser) was assigned a secondary color from the brand to help consumers distinguish the blends quickly. This color is associated with the blends on their respective labels. The main package body was designed to blend well with each of the labels, which could be printed and applied separately, allowing for flexibility with future changes of blends.

LIGHTS OUT

Light’s Out is a luxury candle company that prides itself on its bold scents. Their brand was intentionally crafted with distinct patterns to help consumers associate colors with specific flavors. The package designs we developed not only feature these colors and patterns on the outer box, but also feature a die cut that allow viewers to see the scent-associated pattern on the candle within the box.

This company’s goal was to create a candle packaging experience that the consumer would not want to throw away. The candle jar itself boasts a beautiful pattern so the user is encouraged to reuse the jar instead of throwing it away once the candle is finished.

ALIYA SPARKLING WATER CO.

This fictitious passion project was prompted by the exploration of the question, “If you could brand yourself as a sparkling water company, what would your visual identity and packaging look like?”

Aliya Sparkling Water Co. boasts punchy flavors with delicate illustrations to catch a consumer’s eye from the shelf of a saturated beverage industry.
